My 1st daughter Chelsea was born with no problems. We decided to have another one. Miscarriage on 1997, then 1998. Then got pregnant again. I thought everything was fine. I was 8 months pregnant, just came back from taking my Dad grocery shopping. I did not feel good. I did not think I felt the baby move. This was on a Friday. All weekend long I had the feeling something was wrong. Monday we went for my normal checkup, and they could hear no heartbeat. My deepest suspicions were confirmed, my baby was gone. Later that evening September 13, 1999, I delivered a beautiful baby girl 7 lbs 18 inches long. She had dark hair like me, Was perfect, but she was not breathing. She was BORN STILL an angel in heaven. The turmoil over the next few days months and years could never be understood by anyone, unless you have lost a child yourself. Without the love and support of my family and friends, and the WNYPBN i am the person I am today. My loss has taken a long time to overcome. My baby would be 15 this year. I can say I am at peace finally. It has been a long long road. I may still have a bad day especially her birthday 9/13/99. I started the BASKET RAFFLE for all the Babies born to soon in 2000, which was held at the WALK to Remember. It became so big that it became an EVENING TO REMEMBER> THe love of the wonderful volunteers have helped to make it what it is today. If you could find it in your heart to donate, ONLY $5.00, it would go toward the healing of another parents loss. Hugs your kids tonight, be grateful you have them. I also suffered another miscarriage Sept 2000. , and could not go through anymore.. This organization is wonderful it needs your support to help others…..THANKYOU from my HEART!
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and learn about our baby who will only live on in our hearts… forever. We would like to ask that you help the organization that has helped us and helps so many others in their times of need.
All donations made to this page are made in loving memory of our baby gone too soon and will be used towards the WNYPBN’s Program.
Due to the restrictions and safety precautions required by New York State because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the WNYPBN has to restructure our annual events. In response to this series of unfortunate circumstances, the creative team has come up with alternatives to our annual events, while still paying tribute to your beautiful babies and helping others who are in need of assistance after the loss of their babies, while keeping our community safe.
Please visit our Events tab for information about our upcoming 2022 Events and Fundraisers. We hope you are all able to participate in one or all of our events as we adapt to our “New Normal” and continue to stay in good health and be safe. We are grateful for your support!
Thank you, Emily, Christine, Sue, Kelly and our Event Volunteer Committee
