Our Story of Love at First Sight…
August 28 th 2015 my boyfriend and I found out we would be expecting a child. I'm a type 1 diabetic so we knew that I was a high risk pregnancy. Starting in October I became very I'll I spent weeks in and out of the hospital. Nov 2nd I had a low blood sugar attack and was unresponsive, I was rushed to the hospital where again I spent weeks in and out. I became depress because we have a five year old son who didn't understand what was happening to me. On November 20 we found out thru a special sonogram we were having a girl . Our pattern continued in and out of the hospital but January 4th it became a little different unable to eat, sleep, or take any of my meds I knew I'd be hospitalized. We were told my kindeys were failing on January 5th and they we need to delivery early. Terrified we hope she would have a chance. On January 6th at 7:18 am I gave birth to a beautiful 1 pd 5 oz 11 inches baby girl. They told us she wouldn't cry but she did. Her first day she did great. On January 7th she began to have trouble. That night we knew she wouldn't make it. I held her on my chest until she took her last breath. I miss her everyday and until my last breath her memory will forever live. We love Amaya Kendall Lewis
