Our Story of Love at First Sight

There are two days that I will never forget… the day that I first heard the most amazing sound of two separate yet distinct heartbeats, and the day I heard utter silence. Both of those days have changed my life forever. I remember every little detail of both of those days, and just by remembering those days I am left here in another puddle of tears. This is probably the hardest chapter of my life I have ever tried to sit down and write about. Those who know me personally have seen the challenges and hard ships I have had to battle. There have been so many various obstacles I have had to learn how to face, yet none of those challenges has come anywhere close to the pain I have felt losing my babies. Simply put… I’m not okay… and I think that is OKAY. Every day it gets a little easier to smile, a little easier to look at a baby and not cry…. every day it does get a little easier to get by.

I have loved my babies from the minute I found out that I was pregnant, and I will love them both for the rest of my life. My babies changed my life. Yes… I never got to see my babies, I never got to hold them or hear them cry.. but they were and forever will be.. my babies. Elena and Aria made me a mom, and though I only was able to carry them for a short while, the impact they had on my life will forever reign.

Heaven and Earth may separate us today, but nothing will ever change the fact that you made me a mom. <3

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and learn about our baby who will only live on in our hearts… forever. We would like to ask that you help the organization that has helped us and helps so many others in their times of need.

Important Update

Due to the restrictions and safety precautions required by New York State because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the WNYPBN has to restructure our annual events. In response to this series of unfortunate circumstances, the creative team has come up with alternatives to our annual events, while still paying tribute to your beautiful babies and helping others who are in need of assistance after the loss of their babies, while keeping our community safe.
Please visit our Events tab for information about our upcoming 2022 Events and Fundraisers. We hope you are all able to participate in one or all of our events as we adapt to our “New Normal” and continue to stay in good health and be safe. We are grateful for your support!
Thank you, Emily, Christine, Sue, Kelly and our Event Volunteer Committee
